My Art Portfolio

Marky, your comment on my previous post made me realize that I could now post my artwork up on my blog now and display it using the slideshow function. Thanks for the realization.

This slideshow contains most of my artwork, from 7th grade through 12th. I took art all four years of high school and focused on Black & White images. I also liked self-portraits. I am in no way an artist, only an amateur, but I like to draw. I don't really have much time for it in this stage of my life, but I'm sure one day I'll get back into it.

Thank you for sharing your art portfolio. I am impressed by both your skill and your courage. I'm also impressed by your homage to Weird Al Yankovic, for whom I have a special place in my heart.

Weird Al's awesome, no doubt about it. I saw him in concert once and I laughed almost the entire show. And thanks for the compliments, Matt.

My word Sir! I love your Crowe. It's so hard to get a likeness down when you're drawing. Great job. The Halloween acrylic is very interesting too. It reminds me of Kandinsky for some reason. You certainly have a good eye. Have you ever done analytical drawing? I once had to sketch a fat, sweaty, naked, old woman. That was ten years ago and I still wake up screaming every now and then!

I wish I had kept my work from college; it's always nice to go back and reminisce. I applaud your art. You have inspired me. I now want to leave work and paint for days. So much so, I feel the fake work illness coming on!

Thanks, marky. The Halloween painting is one of my favorite, and I actually had someone to offer to buy the Crowe from me. I never did any analytical drawing, only upside-down drawings. And definitely you should take up drawing again.

Cool art. I too like the weird all album cover art. And might I add...that's a real tricky one to do...so much happening in the shot.

Thanks, Brandon Barr, and welcome to my blog. Hope you come back and visit.

I plan to.

And thanks for stopping by my blog. :)

Too Cool, Logan! You have some great art here! You can tell that over the years you just got better and better. Do you still draw, by the way? Thanks for sharing! I'll have to post some more of my art work as well eventually..

I still draw occassionally, but not as passionately or frequently as I did when I was in high school. Partially because the materials are so expensive, partially because I'm doing other things, and mostly because I don't set the time aside to do it.

I'm glad you liked my work.
