Mistborn Miniature Contest

Brandon Sanderson announced on his blog that the there was a drawing from the folks at BSC who are giving away a set of nice quality patina finished Mistborn miniatures. They're pretty sweet to look at. If you want to enter, check out the official contest here. I hate to wish you luck, cause I want them, but good luck all the same. (For those of you that have read Mistborn, the figurine of the Inquisitor is not how I picture an Inquisitor. I thought of something much more menacing.)

Aye, you do. And you'll be kicking yourself for not reading it any sooner.

I love these little Mistborn minatures they're just so cool!

Oh, and I'm in the middle of Sanderson's Warbreaker and I tell you what, he truly is a master story teller. His magic systems, realms, and characters are so unique and well thought out on so many levels! I highly recommend you pick it up as well!

Marky,
You should definitely kick Sanderson's Mistborn series to the top of your To Be Read Pile! I'm telling you, it's awesome and you won't be dissapointed!

I think I may have to wait for Warbreaker to go paperback, but I'm not sure. All my other Sanderson novels are paperback, and I don't want to break that tradition, y'know. But the Prologue hooked me in (I read it last time I was at Borders) and almost bought it. Alas, I can only buy so many books.

Krista,
Did you see that Sanderson has a massive epic series coming out?

Yes, The Way of the Kings, I did see that and I can't wait! I also happened across the cover of it (have you seen it?) it's really cool! It made me laugh and wonder "what has he come up with now!" Sanderson is seriously one of my all time favorite authors!

Also, I know it might suck to do this, but Sanderson does have the whole published copy of Warbreaker on his website for anyone who wants to read it. Just thought I'd share just in case you got that urge to read it, but couldn't get it or wait LOL! I know what you mean, though - I wish I could get all the books I want, but I've got all those pesky bills!

By the way, here is the link for the Way of The Kings cover just in case you wanted to see it, so funny! Let me know what you think!

Hahahaha. That cover art is beautiful and hysterical. Completely unreal and definitely fan driven, but still very funny.

Warbreaker online, eh? I might have to dig a little deeper on that.

I've just ordered it from Amazon. I'll let you know what I think! Cheers folks.

Excellent news, Marky. I guarantee that you won't regret it. And that's the classic logankstewart guarantee, too.
