cause and effect, a poem

dreaming,
eyes searching,
heart longing
breaking beyond the bound.
rise up
and vanquish.

flying,
arms pumping,
legs kicking,
beating gravity and ground.
out of the angry planet
and into silence.

floating,
limbs turning,
lips smiling,
absorbing light and sound.
leave behind troubles
and let go.

freezing,
teeth chattering,
bones shaking,
trav'ling homeward bound.
space is cold
without a jacket.

falling,
lungs filling,
voice screaming,
nearing solid ground.
unintended consequence
of freedom.

Great poem, Logan. Great word choice, and the rhythm runs nicely.
